OBJECTIVES

  • To identify with the disabled everywhere in our society and carry on Humanitarian and charitable activities to improve their lot.
  • To disseminate information on phenomenal development and generally propagate and ameliorate the plight of the disabled.
  • To increase awareness and understanding of the handicapped among the people through solution oriented assistance programmes.
  • To maintain close co-operation with institutions and homes for the disabled and extend hospitality to them.
  • To foster a better relationship between the youth and the disabled for full integration into the society.
  • To solicit for the support of kindhearted people within Nigeria and establish contact with foreign charitable organizations to organize, implement programmes and projects for the development and convenient survival of the disabled.
  • To serve as advisers on problems relating to the welfare of the disabled through lectures and symposiums and to provide unique opportunity for bringing their talents and ability into full play so as to regain their enthusiasm about life.
  • To give them a chance to participate in activities and to experience success and accomplishment in place of pity and condescension.
